Millennials (born 1977–96) represent 35% of the US adult population (Spring 2016 GfK MRI); Millennials-headed households represent 30% of all US households. Millennials have reached parity with Boomers in terms of the proportion heading up households, but differ significantly in net worth and wages from heads that came of age during the 1980s.
