2016–17 MacroMonitor First Peek:
Nearly 25 million households have used social media to research, share, recommend, or discuss financial institutions, professionals, products, or services in the past two years. This number marks a significant increase from numbers in the 2014–15 MacroMonitor, when 19 million households reported using social media for financials. The increase reflects roughly the same increase in Millennials-headed households between 2014 and 2016.
